Růžoví Plameňáci
We are an artistic duo, composed of Alex Petrova and Markéta Soukupová, based in Prague.
Our main focus is on making video games. We like that video games are a medium which is capable of interacting with the spectator, who is forced to (if they allow themselves to be drawn into the game) experience the situations which we construct.
In our games we mostly address gender issues or specific social situations (stress, psychological problems, etc.). Most of the scenarios in our games are supposed to evoke a feeling of certain familiarity in the spectator, to force them to look at a situation they might experience in real life through a slightly different lens, to draw their attention to the discomfort it can bring.
We mostly work with paraphrases on old, well known video games, and with the simulator genre.
