Working on the game


This was our very first game jam, so we didn’t know what exactly to expect and how to approach the development effectively. The brainstorming part and the first day we felt pretty confident. But on the second day we quickly realized we bit off more than we could chew. The scale of the project seemed too big to finish in just two days, with all the assets and scenes we wanted. But in the end we pulled through and finished almost all of what we set out to do. In the two days we have created this game from scratch, including all of the scripts, visual assets and audio assets.
Both our personalities and approaches to game development and artistic directions varied greatly. This together with the tight deadline led to some stressful situations and quite a few disagreements. Ultimately we feel though that this has improved the game design and the overall quality of the game.

We feel pretty confident about the result considering the time restriction and we hope you enjoy it.
